Plans for Motorbike:
I plan to keep the bike fairly original. I wanted to change the bike to that cool bantam blue colour. But I've decided too keep it black as it was originally registered as this colour. So I'm going to use a mix or Glossy Black, Matt Black, Dark Slate and polish/chrome some of the metal. I want to keep the bike true to it's self but also unique.
I also Plan on changing it from 6 bolts to 12 volts. This doesn't look like too difficult a task and the added benefits seem to be brighter lights, easier to source light bulbs and the ability to add some more electrics suck as indicators.
This Brings me onto the next thing. I plan on adding both front and back indicators just to make the ride a little easier/safer. I'm not 100% sure how I'm going to do this yet. I haven't seen a set of indicators to match the bike yet, I don't want any old indicators that will stick out like a sore thumb.
Apart from these I'm not planning on any other changes out of the ordinary. I don't want to add mirrors to the bike because i don't like the look of them. But if the MOT specifies that I have to have mirrors I'll have no choice but to add them. I'll add a page about MOT specifics, cost and if I had any issues when it comes to it.

Workshop:
Confession time, this whole Motorbike Restoration thing might just be an elaborate scheme to have an excuse to buy a compressor. I've been coveting one for about 3 years and you know how it goes, there's always someone in your life (unless you're lucky) to say "do you really need that?". Sadly mine is my mother :( Don't get frightened, I'm 21 and I live at home in between traveling the world..... My favourite place is Hungary :)
Above is a photograph of the garage where I will be doing all of the work on the bike. On the right is a wallpapering tab;e that I've just covered with a bit of lining wallpaper that I had spare.
Currently I don't have a nice sturdy work bench but I've found a nice one on ebay for £45 that I'm going to get. I was going to use an old computer desk but it's fallen to bits and it's about time I got a decent work bench.
On the left is an old gas heater that's been laying around in the garden for the past 8 years. I've not fired it up yet because I need to get a new gas bottle for it. If this site seems incomplete you will know why.
